FAQs
1. What if I don’t have a car?
a. It doesn’t matter. Lessons are done in my fully insured 2019 Hyundai Elantra with a passenger side brake.
2. How many lessons will I need?
a. I don’t know. Everyone is different. After the first lesson, I will be able to give you a better estimate based on what you know and how well you perform.
3. What do I need to take lessons?
a. You must have a valid Missouri Learner Permit, not the paper showing you passed the test, but the actual permit from the DMV.
4. I work, have school, or am involved in activities that limit my schedule. What is your availability?
a. I am available for lessons from 8am – 8pm Monday – Thursday; 8am – 5 pm on Friday. Special arrangements for weekend hours can be made.
b. Note – new students may not schedule lessons after dark.
5. Who does the teaching?
a. I am the only instructor. Check my bio for more details.
6. Will these lessons lower my insurance?
a. Maybe, maybe not. I will provide a certificate, upon request, noting the number of hours of training you have had. Some prior students have been successful using this for a discount, some insurance carriers do not offer discounts like this.
7. Where are the lessons?
a. I come to you. I will pick you up from your home, work, school, or other agreed upon location.
8. What are the lessons like?
a. Lessons start in a parking lot, then progress to neighborhoods, two lane roads, and highways. If you have certain routes that you will be driving (to school or work) we will practice those as well.
